Job Description
The Corporate Tax intern will be responsible for assisting the corporate tax function, including preparation of tax returns and tax audit support and provide tax-related support on a global level.
This internship will be based in our Milwaukee, WI Headquarters.
Key Accountabilities
Serves as support for Domestic Tax Manager and various other members of the Tax Department
Assist with the preparation of sales and use tax return and other indirect tax filings
Assist with the preparation of U.S. federal and state tax returns
Perform research related to specific tax matters
Validate tax exemption certificates
Special projects as needed
Help identify process improvement opportunities
Qualifications/Requirements
Must currently be pursuing a 4 year degree in Accounting or Finance. Preferably a Junior or Senior.
GPA of 3.5 or higher strongly preferred.
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage several tasks/projects simultaneously
Attention to detail
High level of confidentiality and professionalism
Efficient with MS Office Suite
Strong organizational and time management skills
Advanced problem solving and teamwork skills
Prior experience working in an office setting a plus
Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer.
