Description
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Tax Supervisor / Manager to join their growing team. In this role, you’ll work directly with clients to understand their businesses and identify ways to support their success. You’ll manage a variety of tax compliance responsibilities, including tax projections, responding to tax notices, handling special projects, and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining regular communication and providing timely updates.
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns, including related filings and documentation.
- Respond to routine audits, questions, and notices from federal and state agencies.
- Request and analyze financial information from clients and supervisors to ensure accurate tax preparation.
- Advise clients on the tax implications of business decisions and recommend alternative solutions when needed.
- Manage the planning, execution, and completion of client engagements to ensure timely delivery.
- Review and prepare tax accrual workpapers and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Monitor and apply relevant tax law developments to client engagements.
- Oversee statutory due dates and planning project deadlines to ensure compliance.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing technical guidance and promoting skill development.
- Support internal training initiatives through participation in in-house presentations and workshops.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA license required
- 2–5 years (Supervisor ) 5 + years (Manager) of experience in public accounting preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Salary: 115,000-125,000 Plus Bonus Tax Supervisor / 125,000-160,000 Plus Bonus Tax Manager
